Linda Leigh Taylor Christopher, 70 of Suffolk, VA, passed away April 26, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Mae Taylor. She is also predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Neal Christopher.
Linda came to know Jesus as a child and was a member of Wilroy Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She worked at Greensville Transport for 20+ years. She loved the beach, especially searching for seashells and sea glass, and was also an avid reader. Linda was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud Nana. Family was her priority. She loved getting everyone together and planned too many gatherings to count, with her door always open to everyone. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Heather Asbell and her spouse, Drey; son, Neal Christopher; grandsons, Gavin and Grayson Asbell; sisters, Angie Pinner and Brenda Jordan; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Downtown Suffolk Chapel, with a visitation held one hour before. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
