Nansemond River hosted a VHSL Southeastern District Track and Field meet on Wednesday, April 17.

Oscar Smith girls took home first-place overall with 146 points, followed by Grassfield with 93 points. Kings Fork rounded out the top three, just one point behind Grassfield. Nansemond River (63) followed in sixth, and Lakeland (13.50) ended in eighth place.

Grassfield took home the boys’ overall top spot with 125 points. Western Branch finished second with 86.50, and Oscar Smith rounded out the top three, four points behind Oscar Smith. King’s Fork followed in fourth with 78 points, Nansemond River (54) finished fifth, and Lakeland (35) finished eighth.
