The Lakeland Cavaliers pulled off a huge win Tuesday, knocking out the Western Branch Bruins 4-1.

Landon Patton fanned three batters and allowed just one hit and a run in the contest.

Ben Griffin and Carson Brinkley each had two hits and scored a run apiece. Nick Thompson also had a hit and scored twice in the win.

Lakeland improves to 7-3 on the season and plays host to Indian River on Thursday. First pitch is set for 5:45 p.m.
