Admirals inch closer to North Division lead with Adirondack loss

Following an epic playoff-clinching night, the Norfolk Admirals returned to the ice at Scope Arena for the final time this weekend. Thanks to a four-goal performance by Brady Fleurent and a shutout by Yaniv Perets, the Admirals completed the sweep of the Atlanta Gladiators with a 6-0 victory.
Perets finished the night with 27 saves off 27 shots, pitching his second shutout of the season.
With the win, Norfolk extended its home win streak to ten. Norfolk improved its record to 39-21-5-1 and is two points behind North Division leaders Adirondack, who lost to Reading 5-2 on Saturday.
The Admirals play host to Reading this Wednesday at Scope Arena. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
