NSA’s bottom third of the lineup came up huge in the Saints 10-6 victory over Lawrence Academy Friday. Leading the charge was sophomore Cam Bergen. The sophomore shortstop went a perfect 4 for 4 at the plate, with two RBI and scoring one himself. The combination of Bergen, Noah Brooks, and Matthew Elswick accounted for six of the team’s 12 runs, scored two runs, and knocked in six.
Chase Elliot got the win on the mound, pitching three innings and striking out four.
The Saints improve to 3-2 on the season and play host to Granby on Saturday, March 23, with the first pitch set for 2 p.m.
