Suffolk, Virginia  — The City of Suffolk Fire Marshal’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in an arson incident on Monday, February 26, 2024. During the incident, the offender, Alfred Dennis Russell, 69, of Suffolk, intentionally set fire to an occupied residence located in the 6200 block of Leafwood Road in Suffolk and then fled the scene. No injuries were reported during the incident, however, Russell was charged with Arson of an Occupied Dwelling (F); Attempted Murder, Second Degree (Felony); Destruction of Property (Felony).
