When longtime contributor and esteemed photojournalist John H. Sheally II died at 80 on Dec. 2, 2023, he left a void in the lives of his immediate family and this publication. 

We dedicate this edition to John, and on Page 12, we look at his life and the impact he had on the many people he came in contact with over the years. He will be missed. We continue to send our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to John’s family and closest friends.
