John Lewis Jr. Hardy born May 26th, 1950, joined his mother Lorraine Hardy, father John L. Hardy Sr. and sister Charnna Hardy Jackson on Feb. 8th, 2024. He married Wanda W. Carnes on May 14th, 2016. John was a loving, kind and exceptional man who loved fishing, bowling, and spending time with those he loved. He is survived by his wife Wanda Carnes, niece Audrey Brown and husband Chris, niece Miracle Jackson, nephew Christopher Jackson, stepsons Brenton and Dutch Waters, stepdaughter Donna Frantz, and nine grandchildren: Michael, Maria, Selena, Zoey Antonio, Sophie, Miles, Oliver, and Bentley. He has touched the hearts of many and will truly be missed. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Feb. 17 at Carver Memorial Cemetery 2320 East Washington Street Suffolk, VA 23434
