The King’s Fork Bulldogs came into Lakeland Tuesday and took care of the Cavaliers 104-65 for the second win over Lakeland this season. This edition looked as if it would be more competitive than the last, with each team trading buckets and a close 20-15 Bulldog advantage after the first quarter of play.
The Cavaliers, however, could not withstand the speed and stamina of the Bulldogs, trailing by 18 going into the locker room at the half.
Coming out of the break, the Bulldogs continued their relentless ball pressure, causing havoc for Lakeland in their offensive end of the floor.
The Bulldogs were led by Adarius Boston and Zekhi Darden, who both dropped in 21 points.
Cavaliers Antonion Harrell Jr. scored a game-high 23 points in the loss.
King’s Fork improves to 11-2 on the season and remains a perfect 6-0 in region play. The Bulldogs will play host to Indian River on Friday, Jan. 26. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The Cavaliers fall to 1-11 on the year and will play host to the Hickory Hawks this Friday, Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
