John F Kennedy Middle School receives another safety threat

According to SPS, JFK Middle School received a threat to the building.
Suffolk Police, Suffolk Fire and Rescue, and the Suffolk Fire Marshal’s Office responded to the school at approximately 8:45 a.m., and as a precautionary measure, students have been evacuated from the premises, and a thorough building sweep is being carried out with the assistance of Virginia State Police, United States Coast Guard, and Portsmouth Police K9 units. The building was given the all clear by authorities at 10:42 a.m.
This is the second threat this week. The first coming Tuesday when officials said they received a threat via phone and included explicit references to the possibility of bombing or shooting within the school premises.
