BELLEVUE, Wash. T-Mobile announced in a media release Suffolk is one of many Virginia cities benefitting from recent upgrades to the company’s 5G network.

According to the release, the company has added over 900 new towers and upgraded over 1,500 existing towers across the state to expand its 5G coverage footprint, increase capacity to keep pace with suburban and rural growth and strengthen performance in its wireless networks since 2021. T-Mobile also plans for continued installations and upgrades to existing towers by the end of 2023 to boost capacity and data speeds further.
