The Suffolk Public Works Department announced via media release Wednesday that Manning Road, spanning from Route 58, Holland Road to Wilkins Drive, will be closed beginning Tuesday, Oct.17, 2023.

This closure will extend through day and night hours and is anticipated to remain in effect until Oct. 20, 2023. This road closure is necessary for essential work related to the water line infrastructure as part of the Route 58/Holland Road Corridor Improvements project.

The roadway project is expected to last four days, but the completion is contingent on weather conditions. During this period, a designated traffic detour will be in operation to facilitate smooth traffic flow for motorists.
