Marion “Mac” McLeod, 77, passed away Monday, Sept. 4, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Reba Findley; wife, Millie A. McLeod; daughter, Vickie Ann McLeod and grandmother, Lilly McLeod.

Mac was a member of Southside Baptist Church and he loved his family and friends dearly.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, A.J. McLeod (Casey) of Oak Park, Georgia and Dana C. Fowler (Chad) of Suffolk; grandchildren, Gavin Fowler, Bryce Fowler, Jobie Sapp (Denny) and Tisey Powell; aunt, Alteen McLeod and cousin, Bobby Williamson (Nancy).

A funeral service is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, with Pastor Fred Gray officiating at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Downtown Suffolk Chapel. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until the service. The burial follows the service at Somerton Church, 8610 Whaleyville Blvd.
