The City of Suffolk Parks and Recreation Department has canceled the today’s TGIF Summer Concert Series scheduled for today, Friday, July 14, due to impending inclement weather.

The series continues at Bennett’s Creek Park, 3000 Bennetts Creek Park Rd., as follows:

• Inside Out performing July 28
• Tailgate Down set for Aug. 4
• The Deloreans take the stage Aug. 11
• Wonderland concludes the series Aug. 18

Festivities begin at 6 p.m. and the bands perform from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is free for all ages. Concessions are available for purchase and those attending are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket for seating.

The concert series is sponsored by Sentara Healthcare.
