One injured in Friday shooting on Hill Street

A Suffolk man sustained with non-life threatening injuries Friday in a shooting police are investigating in the 300 block of Hill Street.
The Suffolk 911 Center received a call for service for a shot person at noon Friday, June 16.
The victim, a 29-year-old male, was treated on scene by Suffolk Fire and Rescue, and then transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There is no suspect information available at this time, police said in a news release.
The investigation remains ongoing. Police said there is no further information available for release.
