KFHS girls take win in tennis regionals

The King’s Fork High School girls tennis team captured a win Wednesday in the Virginia High School League regional team tournament.
KFHS defeated Warwick High School, 6-3.
In single’s play, the lady Bulldogs won four of the six matches:
- KFHS’s Nakari Blunt defeated C. Parker, 6-1, 6-0
- KFHS’s Leah Stewart vs. K. Dreher, 6-1, 6-1
- KFHS’s Olivia Hodouto vs. S. Davis, 6-2, 6-0
- Warwick’s L. Walker defeated Maya Satchell, 1-6, 3-6
- KFHS’s Makiya Wright defeated A. Green, 6-1, 6-0
- Warwick’s A. Wells defeated Jasmine Lawrence, 2-6, 4-6
In doubles, KFHS captured two of the three matches:
- KFHS’s N. Blunt and L. Stewart vs. C. Parker and C. Parker 6-1, 6-1
- KFHS’s O. Hodouto and M. Satchell vs. K.Dreher and S. Davis 6-3, 6-3
- Warwick’s L. Walker and A, Green defeated J. Edwards and A. Little, 6-2, 6-0
