The first stage of the Planter’s Park playground replacement should wrap up Thursday, Oct. 27 as demolition of the existing equipment ends

In a news release, the City of Suffolk Department of Parks and Recreation said the playground replacement project at Planter’s Park, 515 York Street will see installation of the new equipment beginning the week of Oct. 31, and will last about two weeks.
