Lloyd Edward Barnes, of Suffolk, born July 28, 1968, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022. He was the son of Effie L. Barnes and the late Floyd T. Barnes Sr. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Lenbyrd, Larry “Fuddy”, Johnny Ray, Jeffery, Floyd Jr. “Guy” and sister, Della. He is survived by his mother, Effie Barnes; four sisters Sarah, Gloria, Brenda and Jenette (Edward); four brothers Ricky, Thomas Lee (Shireen), Dale (Brenda) and Quinton (LaShawn); his five children, Aaron, ShaQuira, Kenerea, Courtney and Trevon; seven grandchildren, Maliachi, Zion, Emmett, Erin, Roman, Kaihlan and Sevyn; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

A graveside service takes place Thursday, Oct. 20 at Collins Family Cemetery 2415 Pittmantown Road. Harris Funeral Home is in charge.
