On Tuesday, July 12, 2022, God in his infinite wisdom dispatched an angel and called Apostle Raymond J. Wiggins II from labor to reward.
Apostle Raymond J. Wiggins, II was born on February 11, 1954, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Raymond J. and Arrie Dell Wiggins, Sr. in the city of Suffolk. Raymond J. Wiggins, is a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Suffolk, Virginia. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.
Apostle Raymond Wiggins served in several church fellowships including 1st Jurisdiction & 3rd Jurisdiction COGIC, and the Suffolk District. Finally, in 1992 he established TrueWay Fellowship Churches Inc. He presently served as the pastor of Total Grace and Love Worldwide Center (Freedom Temple) and the prelate of TrueWay Fellowship Churches Inc.
His survivors include wife, Connie D. Jackson Wiggins, sons, Avron (Suffolk), Raymond Jr. (Jennifer) of Newport News, and Tracy of Suffolk; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters (Laurie Lawson, Peggy Wiggins); four brothers (Raymond Todd, Darrell, Eddie, and Harvey. He is predeceased by one brother, Charlie Wiggins Sr.
Services will be held on Friday, July 22nd at 7 pm (Class B attire/black suit w. full clergy collar) and Saturday, July 23rd at noon (Class A attire/robed). Both services will be held at 1241 W. Pembroke Ave. Hampton, VA 23661. There will be absolutely no pictures, video, or touching allowed at either service.
