Beatrice Porter od 118 Charlotte Ave. passed away in her home on April 27, 2022.
She was the daughter of Haywood and Alease Jones. She is a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Porter Jr.; sons, Solomon Darden (Jean), Mario Jones and Marvin Jones (Daisy). She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Lelia Patterson (Richard), Norma Carrol (Robert) and her son, James Porter and a host of family and friends.
The viewing will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. for family and 2 to 4 p.m. for guests on Sunday, May 1, at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 2 via Zoom. To get Zoom information cal 703-690-7397.
