Nansemond-Suffolk Academy picked up its second win of the week with a 12-3 trouncing of Hampton Roads Academy on Thursday.
NSA improved to 7-4. HRA fell to 1-8.
Jackson Runyon got the win on the mound, and Connor McGhee recorded his first save. Runyon pitched four innings and struck out seven, allowing just two hits.
Josh Morris was 3-3 with a triple to lead the Saints offensively. Jase Howell, Matthew Faircloth and Aidan Conway each had two hits.
NSA beat Trinity Episcopal 11-3 on the road Wednesday.
CJ James picked up the win on the mound, allowing one hit and striking out six in four innings.
Faircloth was 4-4 with a home run and six RBIs. Howell also hit a homer and Brodie Phillips was 2-4 with three runs scored.
