Suffolk Police say a barricade situation Monday afternoon at a residence on Cottonwood Road in the Magnolia Meadows Mobile Home Park has been peacefully resolved. 

Emergency Communications was notified at 1:36 p.m. of the situation at the mobile home park in the 1100 block of Nansemond Parkway, and police responded at that time to the scene. 

The incident remains under investigation. 

City spokesman Tim Kelley said there is no further information to provide at this time.
