Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s lacrosse team is ranked second in the state in the first Virginia Independent Schools Association Division 2 poll of the season.
NSA is ranked behind only North Cross School.
The statewide ranking comes on the heels of NSA’s 16-1 victory over Norfolk Christian.
The Saints were led by David Russell with four goals and four assists and Nathan Dowd with six goals and one assist.
