The Suffolk Art League has announced the return of its Painting with Barbara West series of classes.

Participants will learn basic skills in acrylic or watercolor in “a fun and low-pressure environment.”

“Barbara West is an experienced and beloved Suffolk art educator who has been delighting students with discoveries in paint for decades,” the league said in a news release.

Classes begin Thursday, April 7, and run every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. through May 12. The cost is $60 for members of the Suffolk Art League and $75 for non-members for all six classes. Materials can be provided for an extra fee.
