Lakeland High School has been evacuated Tuesday morning for a report of a bomb threat.
It is the second report of a bomb threat at the school this week.
Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire and Rescue are at the school. Emergency Communications was notified at 9:19 a.m., according to a news release.
The incident remains under investigation.
The Suffolk Fire Marshall’s Office arrested a student after the school was evacuated Monday morning following a report of a bomb threat. At that time, the Fire Marshal’s Office searched the school and found no threat.
Suffolk Police also responded last Thursday morning to the school, which at the time was placed on lockdown after multiple fights were reported in the cafeteria. No injuries were reported.
