Police issue warrants in fatal shooting

Suffolk Police have issued arrest warrants for a Suffolk man in connection with Monday’s fatal shooting.
Jerome J. Scott, 26, is charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony in connection with the death of 31-year-old Demonz Wilson, according to a city press release.
The shooting that killed Wilson happened Monday in the 100 block of North Capital Street.
Scott is believed to be operating a black Mercedes-Benz sedan or dark-colored Dodge Durango, the city press release stated.
“He should be considered armed and dangerous,” the release stated.
The investigation remains ongoing.
