Fire under control at CCAP

Suffolk Fire & Rescue are on the scene of a fire at the College & Career Academy at Pruden.
There are no injuries reported, and the evacuation of the building was already under way when Fire & Rescue arrived on scene, according to a press release.
The fire at the school in the 4100 block of Pruden Boulevard was reported at 2:33 p.m.
The fire stemmed from the automotive area of the building where a car was on fire inside the facility, the press release stated. The fire was marked under control at 3:01 p.m., and fire personnel are airing out the bay where the car was located.
Responding units included Battalion 1, Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 4, Engine 6, EMS 1, Fire Marshal 1, Fire Marshal 6, Fire Marshal 7, Ladder 3, Ladder 6, Medic 6, Rescue 1, Safety 1, and Tanker 1.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
