My name is Thelma Hinton. I am a lifelong citizen of this city. I have served in leadership positions here in Suffolk for over 20 years. I have seen Suffolk grow and change over the years, and I believe that Patrick Bales best meets our needs for our next Commonwealth’s Attorney.

Mr. Bales has served our area as a defense attorney for the past 20 years and has a proven track record. I have spoken at length with him and he has shared numerous instances of injustice which he has seen and fought against. He has always fought hard for his clients and has been successful in both trials by judge and trials by jury.

I believe Mr. Bales exemplifies the qualities we need to have in our Commonwealth’s Attorney. He is diligent, thorough and compassionate. He believes in accountability, not just for a defendant, but for those pursuing justice as well. He knows that justice and equality under the law require a level playing field where both sides have a fair opportunity to present their case.

Mr. Bales’ experience, integrity and leadership are what Suffolk needs to bring us to the next level. Please join me on Nov. 2 in supporting, endorsing and ultimately electing Patrick Lee Bales as our next Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Suffolk.
