Daniel James “Danny” Clark, 59, of Suffolk, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel J. Clark, and stepfather, Theodore W. Barrett.
Danny was the primary caregiver for his mother, Ingeborg, who is living with ALS. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone he could. He loved hunting, fishing and listening to music. Daniel was a great student throughout school as well as an amazing baseball pitcher for JFK High School and was especially loved by his coach, Phil Brazwell. He enjoyed that he got the opportunity to travel to Germany to meet his mother’s side of the family as well. Danny was raised in and continued to attend St. Mary of the Presentation Church his whole life.
He is survived by his mother, Ingeborg P. Barrett; brother, William James Clark (Wanda); sister, Marla C. Barrett; nephews, Jonathan Clark (Becky) and Justin Clark (Christina); great-niece, Ava Clark; great-nephew, Liam Clark; and many extended family on his maternal side in Germany.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at St. Mary of the Presentation Church in Suffolk. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
