Power restored to most after large outage Monday morning

UPDATE: Power has been restored to the vast majority of customers.
Earlier: Thousands of people in Suffolk and Western Tidewater are currently out of power due to an equipment problem.
At 11 a.m. Monday, Dominion Energy listed 4,456 customers in Suffolk without power, as well as 1,048 in Isle of Wight and 534 in Southampton.
The Suffolk outages from Dominion are primarily in Lakeside and Riverview and along Holland Road.
Some areas between Windsor, Walters and Carrsville are also out of power, as well as between Zuni and Ivor
Due to the lack of power supplied by Dominion, Community Electric Cooperative is also reporting outages of 1,674 customers in Isle of Wight, 1,040 in Suffolk and 732 in Southampton as of 11 a.m.
Dominion ascribed the cause to an equipment problem on its outage map.
