The Suffolk Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian on Manning Road Friday evening.

Police responded at 10:59 p.m. to the 3000 block of Manning Road, where they found an individual deceased in the roadway.

The crash is still under investigation, and the individual’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
