Francis “Walter” Floyd, 76, of Atlanta, Ga. passed away on Sept. 18, 2021. He is the son of the late Murdoch E. Floyd and Mary D. Floyd. He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Floyd.

He is survived by his daughter, Kari London.

Walter will be buried next to his parents and military honors will be rendered in gratitude for his service to our country. Walter designated honorary pallbearers as follows, Dave Katz, Richard Pool, William Hill, Robert B. Bryant, Robert Baker and Tom Baker.

His graveside service will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, at Holly Lawn Cemetery, 1525 N. Main St. A visitation will be held prior from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at R.W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St. 

In lieu of flowers, Walter has requested memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, https://www.diabetes.org/donate.
