Nancy Farmer, 70, died on Sept. 17, 2021. A native of Suffolk, she was preceded in death by her father, William Prescott “Bill” Godwin Sr. Nancy was a florist at Pinner’s Flower Shop in Suffolk and later was a used car salesman at Fat Boyz Auto Brokers in Portsmouth. She had a deep love for her fur baby dogs and was an amazing friend.

Nancy is survived by her mother, Nancy Brinkley Godwin; two daughters, Bobbi Jo Spiringer Grunawalt and Eunice Elizabeth Turner; three sons, William Spiringer, Dana Spiringer and Melvin Bowden Jr.; two sisters Hope Godwin Rose and Connie Godwin Bridges; four brothers, William Prescott Godwin Jr., Dennis Godwin, Michael Godwin and Thomas Godwin; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
