To the editor:

I too want to say that the mail service in Suffolk is horrible (in response to “Frustrated with postal system,” letter by Leigh Johnson, June 23).

I have not received packages that were said to be delivered. Nor can I get a response for reported missing mail or packages.

I also did not receive the tax bill and would have been late if my husband hadn’t happened to see that it was due that day in the News-Herald.

With four adults living in my home, I usually have plenty of mail daily, even if it is advertisements. I go days in the week without receiving anything. What happens to all this mail? Everyone in Suffolk, keep your eyes open in ditches and dumpsters for mail.
