A Suffolk man has been charged following a police investigation of a vehicle that struck a residence on Tuesday afternoon.

Michael Rashawn Rodgers, 42, has been arrested on charges including driving under the influence, misdemeanor obstructing justice, driving under suspension and failure to maintain proper control, according to a city press release.

The accident happened at 3:53 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Stoney Ridge Avenue.There were no injuries, but a family of two adults and one child were displaced from their home as a result.
