Police investigate robbery

Suffolk Police are investigating a commercial armed robbery that happened early Friday.
The robbery was reported at 2:17 a.m. at the 7-Eleven in the 2100 block of North Main Street, according to a city press release.
A female suspect reportedly robbed the store of an unknown amount of cash and products while implying she had a weapon, and left in a light blue vehicle headed southbound that was occupied by at least one other individual, the press release stated. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The suspect was further described as a Black female wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants, a COVID-type mask, and white tennis shoes with black stripes down the heel.
The incident remains under investigation.
