Police investigate shooting involving juvenile

Suffolk Police are investigating a shooting involving a 12-year-old male that happened Monday evening.

The shooting in the 400 block of Wilson Street was reported at 7:22 p.m., according to a city press release.

The victim was airlifted to a local hospital in stable condition.

The investigation remains ongoing, and there is no further information available for release, city spokeswoman Diana Klink stated Tuesday afternoon.
