Brock named to Dean’s List

Rachel Brock, of Windsor, a sophomore at Virginia Tech, earned placement on the Dean’s List for Fall 2020.

Brock is the daughter of Rhonda and Peter Brock. She is majoring in architecture in the College of Architecture and Urban Studies.

 

Abreu makes President’s List

Briddie Abreu, of Suffolk, was named to The University of Alabama President’s List for Fall 2020.

A total of 13,128 students enrolled during the fall 2020 term at The University of Alabama made the Dean’s List with academic records of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale), or the President’s List with academic records of 4.0 (all A’s).

The UA Dean’s and President’s lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

 

Watts named to Dean’s List

Aidan Watts, of Suffolk, was named to the Fall 2020 Dean’s List at Wake Forest University. Watts is a sophomore majoring in political and international studies with minors in history, communications, and global trade and commerce. He is a 2019 graduate of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must complete at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.4 grade point average (out of a 4.0 scale) during the semester.

 

Watts honored at Virginia Tech

Chloe Watts, of Suffolk, was named to the Fall 2020 Dean’s List at Virginia Tech. She had a perfect 4.0 for the fall semester. Watts is a senior majoring in marketing management with minors in international studies and communications. Chloe is a 2017 graduate of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must complete at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.4 grade point average (out of a 4.0 scale) during the semester.

 

Alspaugh named to Dean’s List

Madelyn Alspaugh, of Suffolk, excelled during the Fall 2020 semester at Hofstra University, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean’s List.
