Miss Catherine Harris, 706 Eric Court, departed this earthly life on Nov. 26, 2020.    

She retired from Norfolk General Hospital. She was a member of Antioch United Church of Christ.  

She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie (Bonita) Mitchell, Sandra Mitchell and Gwen Mitchell; her sons, Lorenzo Mitchell, Kenneth Harris (Audrey) and Randy Harris (Carolyn); one sister, Margaret Harris Vann; two sisters-in-law, Connie B. Harris and Catherine Harris Williams; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  

She was predeceased by her parents, Alexander Harris and Sarah Luster Harris; a son Donnell Harris; daughters, Alice Faye Harris, and Gwendolyn Harris; sisters, Mariah Harris Watson, and Laura Harris Turner; and her brothers, Alexander Harris Jr., John T. Harris, Otis Lee Harris, William H. Harris, Walter Harris.  

A graveside service will be held at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Carver Memorial Cemetery. You may send condolences to the family at www.vharrisfuneralhome.com.
