Victim identified in fatal shooting

UPDATE Monday 12:35 p.m.: The victim in Sunday evening’s shooting has been identified as Duquan K Love Wilson, 26, according to a city press release.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time.

Earlier: A shooting on Sunday evening left one man dead, Suffolk Police have confirmed.

Police are investigating the shooting, which took place in the 100 block of Tynes Street, police said. The shooting was reported at 7:16 p.m.

Police have not yet identified the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
