Carolyn M. Munford Clendenin, 51, of Adams, Tenn., died Tuesday, June 2, 2020, in her home. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2020, at Sykes Funeral Home in Clarksville, Tenn., with Clifford Shirley officiating. Public visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. with services to follow. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11, at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tenn.

Carolyn was born on May 9, 1969, in Suffolk, to the late Howard L. and Berniece R. Munford. She was raised by Howard and Lula Jewel “Judy” Munford following Berniece’s death.

Carolyn retired as an operations supervisor for McDonald’s, where she worked for 30 years. She was a member of Grace Community Church in Clarksville, Tenn. and Driver #149 Order of the Eastern Star in Suffolk.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Donald W. Clendenin Jr., of Adams, Tenn. Survivors include her daughters, Amber Munford Williams (Ross), of Daphne, Ala., Brittany Wendell (Zack), of Clarksville, Tenn.; sisters, Connie Hangartner (Rodger), of Las Vegas, Nev., Bonnie Champagne, of Waxahachie, Texas; brothers, Mike Munford (Lynn), of Suffolk, Jerry Turner (Jeannie), of Newport News, Doug Turner (Donna), of Newport News; and nieces and nephews; grandchildren: Chloe, Natalie, ElenaJewel, Lorelei Williams and Oakley Wendell.

Pallbearers will be Paul Dwayne Chester, Eric Larson, Gabriel Kemp, Rick Thompson and Landon Bush, all of Clarksville, Tenn., and Nelson Hale, of Hobbsville, N.C.
