The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy baseball team earned an 8-1 win over Southampton Academy on the road Wednesday evening.

The Saints’ victory included six runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Jordan Crosland went 3-3 with a run and three RBIs and added two doubles. Ben Grady went 3-4 with a run. Jase Howell, Riley Decandido and Jameson Spence each had two hits.

Brodie Phillips, Howell and Jackson Runyon handled pitching duties, with Phillips getting the pitching win. He struck out five on the mound.
