The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy boys’ basketball team earned a 70-52 win over Atlantic Shores Christian School.
NSA earned the state tournament win at home Tuesday night. It was a good win for the Saints as they hold the No. 8 seed in the Division II section of the state tournament. The Saints were down after one quarter of play before rallying back over the last three quarters.
The Saints had three players in double figures, with Grant Lopez leading the way with 13. George Pettaway and Kemauri Spencer each added 12. Pettaway also dished out 11 assists on the night for a double-double.
