The King’s Fork High School girls’ basketball team wrapped up its regular season finale with a win over Indian River High School.
The Lady Bulldogs hosted Indian River Tuesday night in the regular season finale. King’s Fork earned a 66-43 win to finish the regular season with a 16-6 record.
It was senior night for the Lady Bulldogs as they honored senior Ashlee Robertson, who finished with 15 points, seven assists and four steals on the night.
Three other Lady Bulldogs finished in double figures, with Quadaia Coles and Arlisha Boston adding 14 points each. Ashawnti Williams added a double-double of her own, with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
King’s Fork finishes the regular season on a four-game win streak and has won 11 of its last 12 games. Seeding is still being set for the region, but the Lady Bulldogs are shaping up to be one of the more dangerous teams in the Class 4A region.
King’s Fork might be in line to host at least one playoff game as the seedings continue to shake out around Hampton Roads.
