The Lakeland High School girls’ basketball team took a win over Grassfield High School Friday.

Lakeland goes to 10-5 on the season after a 57-38 win over Grassfield. It was a nice bounceback win for Lakeland after falling to Wilson High School the game before.

Jamauri Demiel led the way for the Lady Cavs with 17 points, while Jaelyn Brown added nine points.

So far, Lakeland has doubled its win total for last season as the Cavs continue this last stretch to their season. They will take on Hickory High School next to build another win streak.
