Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Cody Ferguson, senior, Suffolk Christian Academy basketball: Ferguson scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in a win over Ahoskie Christian.

Evan Rawls, junior, Nansemond River High School wrestling: Rawls won a championship at the War on the Shore tournament.

Quadaia Coles, junior, King’s Fork High School basketball: Coles scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to go along with four blocks in a win over LC Bird High School.
