The Rev. Dr. Henry L. Jordan, 71, of Sunbury, N.C., transitioned Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, at his residence. A viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 222 Mount Moriah Road, Ahoskie, NC 27910. A celebration of life will be held at noon, Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, at Gates County High School, 088 US Hwy 158 W, Gatesville, NC 27938. He will be laid to rest in New Middle Swamp Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
