Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Jaelyn Brown, freshman, Lakeland High School basketball: Brown scored 17, 15 and 10 points in three wins in a week for the Lady Cavs.

Jayden Epps, sophomore, King’s Fork High School basketball: Epps scored 36 points in a Bulldogs win over Princess Anne High School.

Owen Rawls, freshman, Nansemond River High School wrestling: Rawls finished in first place at a South Carolina tournament for the Warriors.

Kemauri Spencer, junior, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy basketball: Spencer scored 16 points in a win over Williamsburg Christian.
