Eddie Wilson

Eddie Wilson, 83, of Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk, transitioned Monday, Dec. 16, 2019, at Autumn Care of Suffolk. He was the son of the late Glinner Urquhart. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie B. Wilson; and brothers, William Urquhart and Albert Urquhart.
He attended Norfolk Public Schools and retired as a Brick Mason after 40 years of faithful and dedicated service. He was a member of the Bricklayer and Allied Craftworks Local #2 of Virginia for 30 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Michelle Joe, of Suffolk; three sons, Otis Brown, of Suffolk, Lemuel Wilson (Latrice), of Chesterfield, and Reginald Wilson (Diane), of Washington, D.C.; 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a special friend, Dorothy Jackson; a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, at Rising St. James P.H.C. The Rev. Robert Wilkins will deliver the message of comfort. He will be laid to rest in the C.W. Ash Garden of Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
