Cavs best Brunswick

The Cavs boys’ basketball team competed in the Ralph Joyner Classic Saturday, getting a win over Brunswick High School.
The Lakeland High School boys’ basketball team got a 79-64 win over Brunswick to go to 3-1 on the season. After dropping their first game to Lafayette High School, Lakeland has been rolling as they look to continue to build momentum.
Clint Wright Jr. led the way for the Cavs with 23 points and six assists. Keimari Artis added 19 points, six rebounds and four assists. Shawn Mitchell had 15 points and eight rebounds while Ray Bellamy had eight points, eight rebounds and four assists. Jaidan Firman of Brunswick led his team with 16 points.
Lakeland’s next matchup will bring a ton of excitement as they face Nansemond River High School at Nansemond River Thursday night.
